Dr Venkat Reddy Thangella holds a M.Sc. degree in Chemistry from Osmania University, India, also a M.Sc. in Display Technology at Högskolan Dalarna University, Sweden, and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Centre for Pharmaceutical Research and Development at ITT Dublin, Ireland
