Mr. Rao is a first-generation entrepreneur, technocrat, and the visionary architect of the Intech Group. With nearly 30 years of experience, he has evolved from a specialist service engineer into a leader of a multi-vertical enterprise serving the global life sciences and pharmaceutical sectors.
Technical Roots & Vision Mr. Rao’s journey began in 1996, mastering analytical and preparative chromatography systems. After 15 years of deep technical engagement with India’s leading laboratories, he identified a critical need for more reliable, scalable purification technologies. This led to the founding of Intech Analytical Instruments in 2012, which has since grown into a market leader with revenues exceeding ₹200 Crore.
Driving Innovation at ManoTri Pharma As the head of the group’s pharmaceutical vertical, ManoTri Pharma, Mr. Rao leverages his expertise in instrumentation to drive excellence in the CRO and CDMO sectors. Under his guidance, ManoTri specializes in the process development and scale-up of complex peptides and biologicals, bridging the gap between laboratory research and commercial manufacturing.
